Dong Xuan Knitting Limited Liability Company, formerly known as Dong Xuan Knitting Factory, was established in 1959 and operates under the trading name DOXIMEX. It is the first state-owned enterprise in the knitting industry in Vietnam. From its initial knitting factory with 380 employees producing one million products annually, the company has evolved to include four member factories covering a total area of over 180,000 square meters in Hanoi City and Hung Yen province. The annual production has increased to 15 million products, providing employment for thousands of workers and contributing significantly to the development of the Vietnamese textile industry.
Collaboration with Sanshin-Katakura Industrial Trading Company from Japan has secured Dong Xuan a stable export market. With over 80% of its products exported to international markets, primarily to Japan, the United States, and the EU, Dong Xuan has also established a strong presence in the domestic market, selling its products through 11 major supermarket chains with 123 retail points nationwide.
