Hoa Phat Dung Quat Joint Stock Company is the largest member company of the Hoa Phat Group, established in February 2017 with a charter capital of 30,000 billion VND. Hoa Phat Dung Quat is the investor in the construction and operation of the Hoa Phat steel complex in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai province. This is a strategically important project that, once completed, will ensure the leading position as a steel manufacturer in the Southeast Asia region for the Hoa Phat Group.

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Production Complex, with a total investment of 60,000 billion VND, is designed with a production capacity of 4 million tons per year. Its main products include construction steel, high-quality rolled steel, and flat products such as hot-rolled coil steel. Hoa Phat applies a closed blast furnace technology similar to the successful model implemented in Hai Duong province, but with superior advantages and more modern equipment imported from leading global manufacturers. This advanced and environmentally-friendly technology produces coke through dry stamping technology, completely recovering heat and emissions. It maximizes the utilization of by-products for power generation, serving the production process. The entire production water is also recycled, minimizing environmental discharge.

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Production Complex includes a deep-water seaport system allowing for 200,000-ton vessels to dock, facilitating the transportation of raw materials and finished products to domestic and international markets.

Currently, the company is implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Steel Production Complex project with an investment of 85,000 billion VND and a demand for more than 6,000 workers with various professions and expertise. This strategic project significantly contributes to the growth of industrial production value and the national GDP. It also enhances Hoa Phat's position as a leading steel producer in the Southeast Asia region.

The 5S method is a management and workplace organization approach developed in Japan, renowned for its effectiveness and simplicity. It consists of 5 basic steps, each starting with the letter "S," hence the name "5S":

1. Seiri (Sort): Eliminate unnecessary items and keep only what is truly essential. The purpose of this step is to eliminate waste and enhance work efficiency.

2. Seiton (Set in order): Organize and place everything in its proper location. This step simplifies work, saves time, and reduces waste in searching for and retrieving items.

3. Seiso (Shine): Clean and tidy the workplace, including tools, equipment, workstations, floors, and the surrounding space. The purpose of this step is to maintain a clean, safe work environment and enhance professional pride.

4. Seiketsu (Standardize): Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace while developing a continuous 5S management system. The purpose of this step is to sustain the results achieved in previous steps and ensure the continuous and sustainable nature of the system.

5. Shitsuke (Sustain): Create an organizational culture to maintain and develop the 5S method. The purpose of this step is to train, motivate, and maintain 5S awareness throughout the organization, from management to staff, to achieve the best working environment.
