Having entered the shrimp seed industry since 1997, Nam Central Investment Seafood Company Limited has been a pioneer in the production of white leg shrimp seeds and has become a leading brand in Vietnam. The company invests in advanced production technology, employing state-of-the-art technical processes in the Southeast Asia region.
Currently, Nam Central has 7 high-tech shrimp seed production complexes invested in accordance with U.S. technology standards, with a production capacity of 15 billion seedlings per year. The company also has branches in Bac Lieu, Long An, Ninh Thuan, and a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City to better serve customers nationwide.

Nam Central's workforce comprises over 500 employees working across 32 provinces and cities nationwide, including 1 Ph.D., 1 Master's degree holder, 500 specialized engineers in aquaculture, and 5 foreign technical consultants specializing in white leg shrimp.
In addition, Nam Central has established a company in Ho Chi Minh City specializing in importing various products from the United States, including Artemia, vitamins, minerals, and biological products (carefully selected and surveyed across many provinces in Vietnam). This is to supply products to the national market, supporting and ensuring the best quality and quantity of Nam Central's shrimp seed products in the market.
To meet the export requirements for shrimp products, Nam Central has adopted the GlobalGAP Standard for Good Agricultural Practices on a global scale. This standard was developed by FoodPLUS GmbH in Cologne, Germany, in collaboration with producers, retailers, and other stakeholders across the entire food industry. These solutions include a range of standards for safe farming practices, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability. The GlobalGAP standard is widely used for Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA), applicable to the cultivation of fruits and vegetables, aquaculture, livestock farming, etc. This standard also provides the foundation for the GGN label (Consumer label for certified agriculture, responsible and transparent).
KNA CERT is honored to be chosen by Nam Central Investment Seafood Company Limited as the unit to support the implementation of GlobalGAP. KNA conducted on-site inspections of shrimp seed and shrimp meat farming areas in Hamlet 7, Vinh Tan, and Hamlet 8, Vinh Hao, Binh Thuan. Based on the preliminary assessment, KNA CERT experts developed a detailed plan to guide Nam Central in effectively applying the standards.
